Title:  What Can You Do to Prevent C.difficile in Your ASC?

Presenter: Paula Bullock, M.Ed, MT(ASCP), CIC; Infection Preventionist, University of Missouri Health System Paula Bullock

Paula Bullock began her career as a medical technologist in Microbiology and then became a clinical instructor in Pathology in the School of Medicine at the University of Missouri.  She has a Master of Education degree in Adult Education.  She has over twenty years of experience in infection control at University of Missouri Health Care (MUHC).  Paula received Certification in Infection Control in 1985 and has maintained her certification.

Ms. Bullock has always been active in her professional organization, having served on numerous committees at a state and national level.  She served two terms as the National Secretary for the Association of Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC), and was appointed to the Certification Board of Infection Control & Epidemiology, Inc.  In 2010, she served on the Missouri Hospital Association & Missouri DHSS Hospital Licensing Rules Facility Work Group and is currently Secretary of the Show-Me-Central Chapter of APIC.

Ms. Bullock has presented at many educational programs including national educational conferences and was a founding faculty member of Essentials in Infection Control.
