As the Director of Infection Control for Excellentia, Mary helps ambulatory surgery centers with the development and implementation of new infection control policies, strategies, and helpful tips for infection control management.  Mary customizes infection control manuals for Excellentia’s clients.  She also does one-on-one training as well as on-site mock surveys to help ASCs become better prepared for CMS infection control survey.  Mary is a teacher/presenter on monthly educational webinars and also authors an Infection Control Newsletter.  Mary just recently passed her CIC examination for her second 5-year term.

Description:  Mary Bennett, RN, CIC presents a more indepth discussion of infection prevention strategies for the ambulatory surgery center setting with ideas and concepts that will lead to reduce morbidity and mortality.
